Before Your Session
Quiet Preparation
Sessions are scheduled in advance and completed at a distance.

Along with the Reiki healing itself, sessions include space to connect beforehand and reflect afterward, creating a more personalized and supported experience while allowing time for insight, emotional processing, and integration.

When it’s time for your session, find a quiet, comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed. You can lie down or sit—whatever feels most natural. There’s nothing you need to do beyond being open to receiving.

After Your Session
Integration
Be kind and gentle with yourself, and allow some time to rest and hydrate. You may notice a sense of calm or feel more settled as things continue to integrate. I’ll follow up with any insights or reflections that came through, along with simple grounding suggestions or actionable steps if needed.

What Reiki Can Feel Like
Reiki is a deeply personal experience, and each session may feel different. As energy begins to move, you may notice physical sensations, emotional shifts, deep relaxation, or changes in awareness. This overview is intended to help you feel more comfortable and at ease with the subtle ways Reiki can be experienced.
Every Reiki experience is unique. Some feel strong sensations while others notice subtle shifts; not feeling much physically does not mean the Reiki is not working. The integration and inner shifts often continue to unfold long after our session concludes.
Gentle Warmth
A soft sensation of warmth may settle over certain areas of the body or lightly spread throughout the system, often creating a comforting sense of calm and relaxation.
Tingling & Flow
Some people notice tingling, pulsing, waves of sensation, or subtle energetic movement throughout the body as tension begins to shift and energy flows more freely.
Emotional Release
Waves of emotion can sometimes occur during Reiki as the body and nervous system begin to relax, process, and let go of stored tension or emotional heaviness.
Deep Relaxation
Reiki often brings the body into a deeply restful, meditative state where the nervous system can begin to settle, soften, and fully relax.
Heaviness or Lightness
You may feel deeply grounded and relaxed, while others experience a sense of lightness or spaciousness during the session.

A stillness or a feeling of being safely held in a space where no effort is required of you.
